Faculty Representative Message
I am very glad to write these lines for yet another publication of the Almohandis magazine. It gives me heartiest pleasure to note that in an engineering institute, this magazine has endeavored over the years to keep the literary spirit alive and has been very successful. This is a clear indication that even in a technical university, students have an immense literary potential which they wish to express. Almohandis has become that platform through which they can express it.
Literature is essential in aptly grooming the students. Although it can’t be part of the curriculum for an engineering student, it must always be there as a co-curricular part of the mainstream academia. Only then will we be able to produce not only good engineers but also good humans.
This year’s publication speaks of the creativity of the Almohandis team. Some very interesting sections have been added. The students’ contributions have also increased this year which means they are beginning to realize the importance of literature. I extend my heartiest congratulations to the entire team of Almohandis specially General Editor Hassan Raza for putting in an immense effort and working round the clock for bringing out this publication. They have indeed worked very hard and without them, this publication wouldn’t have been possible.
I am dedicating this magazine to my parents and all the faculty and students who are privileged to be a part of this magazine. Each and every page of this magazine will help you in enlightening yourself. You will enjoy each and every page of this magazine as it brings interesting stories to you. Take time out to realize the effort put into making this magazine possible and make sure you enjoy it with full concentration.
