Every one of us, unconsciously, works out a personal philosophy of life, by which we are guided, inspired, and corrected. It is this philosophy by which we measure out our days, and by which we advertise to all about us the man, or woman, that we are. . . . It takes but a brief time to scent the life philosophy of anyone. It is defined in the conversation, in the look of the eye, and in the general mien of the person. It has no hiding place. It’s like the perfume of the flower? Unseen, but known almost instantly. It is the possession of the successful, and the happy. And it can be greatly embellished by the absorption of ideas and experiences of the useful of this earth. After my father, at two years of age, it was my mother who braved out the entire burden on her shoulders, saved us from thick and thin and told us the lessons of Ethics, morality, communication and management and developed my personal philosophy of life.
Well said by someone that “If you have a dream, give it a chance to happen.”
On enrolling this maternal educational institution named UET Taxila, the spot where I first felt fragrance of my philosophy of life and got a chance to express it was Almohandis. Almohandis then became my passion and many dreams came true. We introduced many new ventures and ideas into Almlohandis. And many of those ideas became reality and our road to glory is endless. This year we introduced first tri-monthly edition, book club, adabi takra, comic section, student opinion polls and campus buzz. Literary olympiad 2011 was resplendent than ever before, we organized 10 different competitions and held a splendid exhibition of students art work.
I would like to say that it is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome. I am very glad that I was honored with a team of dedicated people and their attitude was overwhelming, encouraging and inspiring for me. I would like to thank all my team members for their efforts and making publication of Almohandis possible.
Finally I am deeply grateful to worthy Vice Chancellor and Chief Editor and Advisor for their endless support and help in all matters regarding magazine. Wishing you all the best.
